The company manages government-funded contracts.
The company also manages, facilitates, and administers professional support to local Scouting, including the employment of a Local Development Officer (LDO); a County Scout Administrator; as well as offering courses and support for First Response; MiDAS; and the DofE Award Scheme. The company also actively supports community projects in Africa and other countries . . . for example Project AfricaYour Link.

BSEL is a company limited by guarantee and a registered charity, having a membership base for those who support their work. In order to continue and improve the services, the company is seeking additional members and/or volunteers to help, so that the company can expand and offer greater support.
