Berkshire Young People's Project 2012
The Berkshire Young People's Project 2012 has just been launched and follows past very successful schemes that bring young people closer to employment and job opportunities.
The Berkshire Young People's Project 2012 is successfully providing opportunities for unemployed people. Each week we have planned an average of eight volunteers attending a minimum of three days a week, with a mix of new and regular volunteers. The participants will be trained and develop new skils and be empowered to work as part of a team, seek new skills, create CVs that speak for you and communicate confidence in interviews and discussions. The BSEL team also will help placement to local charities and companies completing a wide range of tasks with a wide range of skills.
The project includes working with BIONIC, a consortuim of organisations that are making a positive impact on job opportunities for young people.
Berkshire Scout Enterprises are working in partnership with Graft -Thames Valley; NACRO; and many others in reducing the unemployed and disadvantaged people in Berkshire.
